About us
Darksome Media is a partnership owned by renowned business and
technology journalist and editor Stuart Lauchlan, and writer, editor and multimedia expert Chris Middleton. (Click the links, or go to Partners.)
Darksome Media was founded at the beginning of 2007 to provide a mix of services we believe is unique: expert editorial services to the 21st century enterprise and its media partners; in-depth training courses, including media training, public speaking and industry analysis; and state-of-the-art digital
production, including for podcasting. We also offer print design.
Our standalone production studio in Brighton, UK, provides audio, soundtrack and music recording, editing, mixing, post-production and synching for podcasts, corporate videos, advertising, animations, and independent movies. We also supply original music for games, corporate videos and idents.
• Some recent major projects
We co-developed and launched Sourcingfocus.com in 2008 with the OUT
Group (Chris Middleton remained editor until May 2009); we developed Businesscloud9.com and took it to Sift Media, where it launched this year
(Stuart Lauchlan edits the site, and we contribute news), and we produce Outsource magazine for EMP. We are now working on a range of new media ventures for 2009 and beyond.
